Venison Breakfast Burritos

These burritos are super easy to make and can be frozen for later. Make a large batch, wrap in tinfoil, and microwave then bake for reheating.

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Makes 6 Burritos

Ingredients:

1 pound ground venison

1/4 cup maple syrup

½ red pepper

½ white onion

1 green onion 

4 eggs

6 burrito wraps

Green onion and cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Over medium high heat, add venison and maple syrup to pan.

  2. While venison cooks, chop onions and peppers, whisk eggs in a bowl, shred cheddar cheese

  3. Once cooked, set aside venison. Add onions and peppers to pan and cook until translucent.

  4. Once vegetables are cooked, set aside. Pour in egg mixture, scramble while cooking.

  5. Add venison, cheese, vegetables to burrito. Wrap both ends in, fold bottom to top, serve.

  6. If freezing, do not add sour cream.
