Venison Big Mac

You will never eat at McDonald’s again after you try this delicious Venison Big Mac! The homemade Mac sauce and sharp American cheese compete with the delicious mule deer taste. For perfect venison burger patties, make your burger mixture, roll it onto a baking sheet with a rolling pin until you have the right thickness, then use a large mug to cut out the shape of your patties. Put the baking sheet in the freezer and set aside your perfect burger patties.

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Makes 2 Burgers

Ingredients:

4 Venison Burger Patties

2 cups mayonnaise

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

2 tablespoons relish

1 ½ teaspoons vinegar

1 tablespoon hot sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground chili powder

4 hamburger bun bottoms

2 hamburger bun tops

½ cup raw white onion, minced

½ cup shredded lettuce

1 dill pickle, sliced

4 slices American cheese

Instructions

1. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, pickle relish, vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, and chili powder in a bowl to make sauce. Place in fridge for 10 minutes.

2. Toast buns in a frying pan with butter, add 2 bottom buns and flatten with spatula. Remove when toasted.

3. Layer sauce, onion, lettuce, and pickles on 2 bottom buns. Layer some of the sauce and remaining onion, lettuce, and American cheese to the middle buns.

4. Season patties with salt and pepper. Cook in the hot pan 2 at a time until browned, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Place 1 patty over each bottom bun; stack and cover with top buns.
