Moose Hamburger Steak and Eggs

When you’re dealing with an animal as delicious as moose, you get to skip on all the fillers a regular burger has and you are left with simply meat, salt, and pepper steak. Keep some thawed ground moose in your fridge for this super easy protein-filled breakfast.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

½ pound ground moose

2 eggs

Olive oil

Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine moose, salt, and pepper. Pack together into a ball the size of your palm. Heat olive oil on a non stick pan at high heat.

  2. Set meatball into pan, press down with spatula into ¾” patty. Season. 

  3. Cook on high heat for 60 seconds, then flip.

  4. Press down on steak to sear evenly. Cooking for 90 seconds. Flip and cook for an additional 60 seconds. Set aside and let rest.

  5. Clean non stick pan, return to medium heat. Add butter. 

  6. Whisk 2 eggs together in a bowl, add to the pan. Scramble into one egg mixture, let sit for 30 seconds.

  7. Flip scrambled eggs, turn off heat. Cook for 60 seconds.

  8. Serve, season with salt and pepper.
